Table-topping Luton Town and Indians suffered a shock battering from Knebworth Park in the Saracens Herts League Division One.

Knebworth, who are second-bottom of the division, reduced the Indians to 38-7 before eventually bowling the league leaders out for just 74.

Despite Monty Panesar wheeling away consistently from one end, 74 was never enough to defend and Knebworth Park wrapped up an eight wicket win.

In Division Three B, the second team lost to Bishop’s Stortford II despite an impressive unbeaten 91 from Fayaz Homyoon.

This helped Luton to a score of 202-6. However, despite three wickets apiece from Khizer Manzoor and Agastya Vyas, Bishop’s Stortford II reached the target with five balls to spare.

Half-centuries from Arun Patel and Maicol Javed helped the thirds to victory over Cockfosters II. They secured victory by 53 runs thanks to a fine all-round bowling performance, with all five bowlers taking wickets.

Meanwhile, in Division Nine A, the fourth team have thrown themselves into six-way title fight thanks to victory over Offley and Stopsley.

They somehow managed to defend a total of just 108, bowling the home side out for just 76, meaning the top six are now separated by just 30 points.
