Macmillan staff star at the Palladium

BED PANS, cycling helmets and slippers all came in handy when Luton Macmillan staff were practising their routine - minus top hats - for the charity’s Centenary gala at the London Palladium.

Head and neck oncology dietician KT Martinelli, palliative care specialist Wendy Cope, welfare rights advisor Karina Chamberlain and urology clinical nurse specialist Mark Pedder (pictured) performed One from A Chorus Line at the event which was hosted by Graham Norton and featured Sophie Ellis Bextor and the Nolans.

Appearing on the West End stage was a dream come true for the four dedicated professionals.

Mark said: “I’ve wanted to dance at the West End since I was a little boy. I’m always first up at social events.”
