An attack victim suffered a broken arm and suspected eye socket fracture when he was assaulted twice in one night.

Police in Dunstable are appealing for witnesses to the attacks on the 28-year-old man to come forward.

The most serious happened on Sunday morning between 3.30 and 3.45 in the car park at the Asda store in Court Drive when two men and a woman assaulted the victim.

Det Con Helen Howson, investigating, is keen to trace anyone who witnessed the incident in the car park or who saw another assault on the same man earlier that night in the Sugar Loaf pub in High Street North.

Det Con Howson said: “We know that the victim was also assaulted in the pub earlier that night and as he made his way home he was assaulted again, this time suffering serious injuries.

“It is possible that both offences were committed by the same people and I would urge anyone who witnessed either of these incidents to contact the police and help trace those responsible.”

Anyone who can help with this investigation can contact Det Con Howson, in confidence, at Luton Police Station, on 01582 394059, or Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
