Meet top arthritis consultants
There’s a brand new £30,000 ultrasound machine in the Luton & Dunstable Hospital’s rheumatology department. It enables much earlier diagnosis and treatment of infammatory arthritis and staff are keen to let the local community know what’s available.
An information evening is being held at Luton’s Chiltern Hotel from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, October 21.
Spokeswoman Julie Begum said: “Our consultants will be demonstrating the equipment so people can experience it and understand its benefit as a diagnostic tool.”
The event will close with a question and answer session.
