MP Andrew Selous today (June 27) announced the death of his “kind and caring” constituency secretary, Councillor Denise Green.
The MP for South West Beds released a statement following the news.
He said: “It is with great sadness that I have to announce the sad and untimely death of my constituency secretary Councillor Denise Green of Totternhoe Road, Dunstable.
“Denise died unexpectedly at her home in Dunstable on Tuesday evening. She was the widow of Councillor Tony Green a former Mayor of Dunstable.
“Prior to working as my constituency secretary Denise worked as the secretary for South West Beds Conservatives.
“Denise was a very kind and caring person who always went out of her way to help and look after other people.
“I am greatly saddened by her death and send my deepest condolences to her family and friends.”
