Pebble Music School is teaming up with Kids In Action to provide music workshops for the charity’s members.
The teachers from the music school are working with the charity on a new project, following the success of the music workshops for children during school holidays.
Kids In Action provides social and sporting events for children and young adults with disabilities and special needs.
Chris Taverner, Pebble Music School teacher, said: “We are doing Stomp workshops with the charity.
“They are going really well, the musicians seem to be enjoying it and Paul, who runs the charity, seems to be positive about both the response and the content of the sessions.
“It has long been known that music can be beneficial to adults and children with varying levels of learning difficulties.”
Charity founder, Paul Bowen-James, said: “Everyone here is loving the music sessions, it is great that Pebble Music School are working with us.
“The Stomp sessions are very loud but brilliant.”
