Christmas cheer for poorly children

CHILDREN who had to spend their Christmas in hospital were cheered up with presents donated by generous clubbers on Friday.

Liquid & Envy nightclub offered free entry for party-goers who brought a gift for children at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.

Evie Gormley, eight, pictured with Liquid & Envy promotions manager Keeley Hellyer, was one of the delighted children to receive gifts.

An L&D spokesperson said: “We were really touched to hear what Liquid & Envy were doing to help bring festive cheer to our children on the wards this Christmas. Thank you to everyone who brought a gift. They have made the children feel very special and they love the fact that people are thinking of them.”

Liquid & Envy general manager Richard Hill said: “We hope we put a smile on their faces.”
