Then don’t miss a special walk taking place next month to mark International Dawn Chorus Day.
The National Trust walk, on Sunday May 6, starts at 4.30am at the Chilterns Gateway Centre, walking to Whipsnade Tree Cathedral, and continuing along Whipsnade Downs.
A guide from the trust will talk walkers through the different birds that call the downs home, and help identify them by their call. Costs £2, call 01582 500920 to book.
