Following the spread of the Coronavirus in the UK and the country’s enforced lockdown, Running Mad - a unique Virtual Challenge organisation - launched the 'Thank You NHS' Virtual challenge.

This initiative aims to encourage people to stay active while supporting a charitable cause.

Running Mad is supporting the NHS by using 100 per cent of its profits from its 'Thank You NHS' Challenge to donate life-saving PPE to frontline workers.

Rana said: "While our mission is to motivate people to stay physically fit while also donating to different charities, at the moment I wholeheartedly believe that our collective efforts should go towards protecting the NHS staff who are risking their lives every day.

"You don’t have to go out to take part in this challenge. In fact, there are many things that you can do from home: run in the garden, walk up and down the stairs or complete your distance on a treadmill.

"Self-isolation just means coming up with more creative and fun ways to keep fit."

Running Mad is demonstrating that helping the community means much more than encouraging people to stay healthy.

It also means supporting the NHS frontline staff that works selflessly to save people’s lives during the Covid-19 outbreak.
