"In April, I lost my friend who was also in the same school but a year ahead, he lived in Luton and he died with COVID-19 and there was nothing we could do to help, 9 days later, his brother also died with COVID-19.
"I was left shocked by what had happened.
"About 8 weeks ago, Kesienah rang me and I knew something was wrong. To me it sounded like he had given up, like a goodbye phone call.
"Kesienah, a husband and father to three beautiful children, has been diagnosed with end stage renal (Kidney) failure and this very serious condition has made it impossible for him to continue working.

"I could not lose another friend, I felt like I had to do something to help, I contacted other people in the class and we decided to try and help.
"The goal is to raise £66,500 to enable him to have the much needed surgery and aftercare.
"He has to have dialysis three times a week to put him in line for the transplant, he has a brother and sister who are being tested to see if they are a match.

"I know these are tough times but I believe in the goodness of humanity and I know we can find it in our hearts to come together and make this possible for Kess and his beautiful family."
