The school holds the event every year in aid of Cancer Research and this year they are inviting the community to take part too.

Event organiser Fiona Vinall said: “Race at our Place is a very important event that we will be running for the fourth time this year.
“It is a time when our school remembers a well loved member of staff and friend of many, who lost her battle with cancer.
“It also gives us a chance to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

“Last year we raised £2026.04, we are hoping to beat that this year.
“We would like to encourage people from the local community to come and take part, they can pop in anytime.
“A voluntary donation and a walk around the field will earn them a lovely medal.”
