Bosses at Capwell Grange Care Home were amazed at the "extraordinary" creativity from residents after they invited them to take up the challenge.

The home is split into different houses called Mitre, Bonnetti, Hatley, Milliner and Fedora. Each house was tasked with upcycling three or four old rubber tyres each to show the personality of their house as part of a competition.

Bonetti created a wishing well to show it is possible to return home following a period of rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Mitre house created a rainbow that presents staying safe and the LGBTQ community.

Mitre house was doubly creative with a second project - a frog to show their love for nature and animals - which snatched the trophy for best prize.
