Stopsley grocery store set to host new Post Office

Stopsley will soon be served with a new Post Office after a previous branch closed last year.

Stopsley Post Office will operate from Runner Bean grocery store on Hitchin Road, Luton.

The new store will open on Monday, December 7.

Its opening hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, and Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

Services will include bill payments, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.

A Post Office spokesman said: "We are keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans.

"We would still like to receive feedback from customers and interested parties on access and the service offered at the new location."

The consultation will close on November 19. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 130458.
