Elaine Cruise, Mary Seacole Housing Association’s training and events manager, said: “I am always really apprehensive at the beginning of the year when planning begins for the annual ball, funds are always limited and corporate sponsorship is the key component to making these events happen.

“Fortunately this year companies such as A-Plan Insurance, Keens Shay Keens, Pictons, Bartham Press Spicer & Co Accountants, Elmecom, Workflow Solutions and Support; all sponsored Mary Seacole which contributed largely to the event being a huge success.

“It was a delight to see so many people enjoying themselves.”
