Police to keep residents informed if trouble starts in Bedfordshire
POLICE are to keep worried residents up to date with the latest on rumours relating to rioting in Bedfordshire via social media and text messaging alerts.
The Beds Police communication team will be regularly updating its Facebook page and Twitter feed as well as sending texts and emails with all the latest news should trouble start.
Police have placed posting restrictions on their Facebook page to help prevent the spread of rumours. Individual comments will not be responded to but regular updates will be posted should anything happen in Bedfordshire.

To receive text updates text POLICE to 88020 to receive updates. Messages will only be sent should anything occur in Bedfordshire.
