Second collision at fatal accident spot
A driver has been taken to hospital after a second accident on Bedford Road, Houghton Regis, in the space of five days.
On Sunday, a 58-year-old man died after his motorbike was in collision with a car near the Thorn turn, between Houghton Regis and Toddington.
This morning (Thursday, July 28) fire and ambulance crews had to attend the same spot after a car ended up in a ditch at the side of the road. The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital with minor injuries.
