Singing out for charity events

They formed the choir 12 years ago and provide light entertainment for various groups such as Women’s Institutes, the Masons and church harvest suppers.

Spokeswoman Diana Haskins said: “We’ve raised more than £14,000 for charities including the Macmillan Cancer Unit at the Luton&Dunstable Hospital.

“Our aim this year is to buy a piece of equipment for the children’s unit at Keech Hospice Care.”

Their repertoire depends on the time of year and type of audience.
