Hide AdLiz said: “We wanted to support families and help the Luton and Dunstable hospital buy equipment like Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring machines.
“Over the last six weeks we have had the sky dive, the bike ride from London to Brighton and the golf day.
“The sky dive was the scariest thing I have ever done but also one of the best experiences of my life.
“The 54 mile bike ride went really well, it was a great day and we were all there cheering them on.

“The total for the year so far is £24,500 and we are still waiting for money to come in, it is an outstanding amount, thank you to everyone that has donated.
“From those that have been doing the events to those that have donated, thank you all!”
The fundraising will continue to the end of the year with a few more events planned.

Hide AdLiz added: “We will go to the hospital with the money raised and the diabetes team will decide what equipment they can buy.
“We will hold some of the money back because we want to set up a support group for families, there doesn’t appear to be one in the local area, it will be very useful for parents.”
