Tesco’s activity week helps charity
The Dunstable superstore wanted to raise £7000 for the charity that helps children in Luton living in poverty.
Jane Malcolm, Level Trust director, said: “I was astounded at the amount of effort Tesco put into raising money for the charity, the team really do care about their local community.”

Hide AdThere was craft activities, balloon art, a disco, and a book signing by children’s author Jess Rowlands. Caddington Village School pupils recreated a scene from the author’s book, Boris The Brave,
Karen Linley, Tesco community champion, said: “It was a real community event, volunteers from Signposts came along and bag packed for customers to help Level Trust raise money for the project.
“We all had a great fun fundraising and it was very successful, we are well on the way to reaching our target.”
