The Lynx effect at Whipsnade
RHUBARB and a little Custard may sound like a yummy pudding, but the duo are actually the latest four-legged additions to Whipsnade Zoo.
The rare European lynx kittens are the first-born of mum Maja and dad Timo. Rhubarb and Custard are already showing off their distinctive pointed-ears, but haven’t yet developed spotty markings on their coats, which will appear as they get older.
The youngsters were tucked away in their den with mum but can now be spotted playing hide and seek in the trees in their enclosure.
