Top prize for L &D midwife at annual awards
A midwife from Luton & Dunstable Hospital has won one of the UK's top midwifery prizes at the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) Annual Awards.
Mary Edmondson lifted the RCM Members’ Champion Award for her work as a union learning representative, promoting training and development in the workplace.
She has re-galvanised weekly maternity training sessions and is designing a leaflet and easy-to-use information for midwives on the new revalidation process.
