Man's body found at Blow's Downs

At around 5.50pm yesterday evening officers were called to reports of the body of a man being found in Skimpot Road.

East of England Ambulance Service has said that at the same time it was alerted to reports of a man in cardiac arrest.

It sent two ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle and a hazardous area response team.

An EEAST spokesperson said: “When we arrived at the scene nothing could be done, and he was pronounced dead.

“Our thoughts with the family.”

Beds Police is not treating the death as suspicious.

The force is working to identify the body, after which the case will be referred to the coroner.
