A woman was injured in a collision involving a Heavy Goods Vehicle on High Street, Houghton Regis, on Monday afternoon.
The pedestrian, in her 80’s, suffered an isolated shoulder injury and was taken to Luton and Dunstable hospital.
Bedfordshire Police were called shortly after 12pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and HGV near Morrisons.
The East of England Ambulance service sent an ambulance crew to the scene. A spokesperson for the service said: “A lady in her 80’s was injured, it is an isolated shoulder injury, she was taken to the Luton and Dunstable hospital in a serious but stable condition.”
A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: “We were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a HGV, the pedestrian was injured.
“There are expected to be delays in the area.”
