Woman hurt in chemical incident
A woman is being treated in hospital after a minor chemical incident in Luton today.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 3.07pm to reports of the incident on Kimpton Road, Luton.
A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and ambulance officer were dispatched and were all on scene in under ten minutes to treat a woman believed to be in her 30s for minor injuries.
After receiving treatment at the scene, she was then conveyed to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for further treatment in a stable condition.
