AFC Dunstable Ladies enjoyed a 3-2 win over West Billericay Ladies in their opening Eastern Region Women’s League One South home clash of the season, last weekend.

First half goals from Stacey Savage and a 35-yard wonder strike by Danielle Carty saw AFC move 2-0 in front.

Savage, Carty and Dionne Manning all went close to a third, before West Billericay pulled one back before the break.

In the second period, the visitors levelled, before Manning was on target with the winner as AFC’s defence ensured there was no way back for Billericay.

AFC travel to Norwich City Reserves in the League Cup this weekend.
