ATHLETICS: Victory for Luton AC

Luton Athletic Club’s Senior men’s team made a rare appearance on the road at the Fred Hughes 10-mile race in St Albans, with considerable success.

Daniel Woodgate continued his excellent form, winning comfortably in a new course record of 51.36mins.

Also making their debuts over the distance were Andrew McMulkin, who was seventh in 55.29mins and Sean Still, as he came ninth in 56.15mins.

In a field of over 600, Stuart Still finished an excellent 20th in 59.33mins to secure Luton the team prize.
