Bedford Blues move is lovely-Jubb-ly for Saracens star and Hatters fan Tom

England U20 international and rising Saracens star Tom Jubb is hoping that his-dual registration with Bedford Blues next term will help with his Premiership ambitions, writes Mark Wood.

The 20-year-old Lutonian lock, who can also play in the back-row, is an A League regular for Sarries and has played several time for them in the LV= Cup, including the first game at Allianz Park against the Cardiff Blues.

He enjoyed U20 Six Nations success last season, but missed out on a World Cup place as he said: “I didn’t get to go to the World Cup, but I got my Six Nations medal which was a good accolade to get last year.”

Jubb is a self-confessed Luton Town fan from Stopsley who is in his third full-time season with Sarries after going to school at Someries Junior School, Hitchin Boys School and Oaklands College.

A series of niggled though have hampered his progress at senior level though and he’s hoping for plenty of game time at Goldington Road.
