A special night for Kay
Luton boxer Kay Prospere made it four pro wins out of four with a points victory over Lithuanian Lubos Priehradnik at the Camden Centre in Kings Cross on Saturday, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 29-year-old light welterweight had won his previous two bouts with first round knockouts, but was taken the distance by a durable opponent, who had won nine from 60 fights.
Prospere, a member of Hockwell Ring ABC, eventually came through 40-36 and is now looking to get amongst the belts soon.
He added: “My aim is for the Southern Area title.
“Once I’ve got that, I’d like to try and fight for some British and Masters titles too.”
