After Devine’s recent 39-37 points victory over Sid Razak, Paisley said: “Michael boxed really well on March 5.

“He won the first three rounds and narrowly lost the last, but showed great improvement on his defence and his patience to pick shots and read the fight which will set us in good stead for the future.

“His next outing will be on June 4 at York Hall on a Goodwin Promotions bill.

“Goodwin Promotions have been that impressed with Michael and Jamie Boness they have both signed three-year promotional contracts.

“Michael’s future will be a case of picking the correct opponent for his next few fights for him to learn his trade a bit more.

“We will be looking at some kind of title by the end of next summer if he keeps busy.

“I would also like to thank the people of Luton for the continued support for an up-and-coming young boxer.”
