Conroy to face Reed in Barnsley
Dunstable boxer Liam Conroy will head to Barnsley Metrodome on Friday night for a bout with Wayne Reed.
The 27-year-old who has been a pro for six years, has won 11 and lost 11 of his 22 bouts, including five defeats in his last six.
Those recent fights did see him go five rounds with Olympic bronze medalist Anthony Ogogo though, plus losing the vacant British Masters Bronze light-middleweight title to Simone Lucas.
Conroy won on his last time out in the ring, becoming British Masters Bronze light-heavyweight champion by defeating Danny Goode.
