Graham plays waiting game over Katsidis bout

Graham Earl is still hanging on for his rematch with Australian Michael Katsidis, but admits hopes of the bout are fading fast, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 32-year-old had agreed a deal to fight Katsidis, who beat him back in February 2007, but the British Board of Boxing Control refused to grant Earl permission.

Earl told the Luton News: “To be honest, I’m still waiting.

“At the moment I’m hoping it will come off, but I’m at the stage where I’m sort of focusing on my fighters and want to make champions out of them.”
