Hashmi enjoys ABC triumph
Luton youngster Danny Hashmi had a fabulous win at an ABC National event held at the Chiltern Hotel last week.
The 17-year-old, who lives in Nunnery Lane and fights for Stevenage BC, won his bout by a unanimous decision, while at the end of the evening, picked up the Best Boxer of the Night and Best Bout of the Night trophies.
Hashmi, who has been boxing since the age of 11, attends Luton Sixth Form Collenge and is a former Icknield Junior and High School pupil.
He is now through to the next stage in the National ABA Youth Championships.
