King retains Home Counties title

Luton boxer Sam King has retained the Home Counties champion title for the second year running after his opponent didn't make the weight at the weekend.

In doing so, King has now progressed to the semi-finals of the Junior ABA’s where he will box in Portsmouth in Portsmouth on April 2-3.

The 15-year-old has also received the news that he has been selected for an England Talent Day taking place in Bradford this weekend.
