Little signs Maloney deal

BOXING: Exciting Hatfield heavyweight Tom Little (2-0-0) has been signed on a three-year promotional contract by Maloney Promotions.

Managed and trained by former British and Commonwealth champion Graham Earl, Little will make his third pro appearance on January 21 at the Liverpool Olympia.

Headlining the bill is David Price versus John McDermott in a 12-round final eliminator for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight title, while Little forms part of a lively undercard.

Maloney said: “I am excited about 2012 with this crop of young heavyweights under my promotional banner.

“I believe it will not be long before our stable will be controlling the British and Commonwealth, European and World Heavyweight titles.

“I go as far as saying this could be as early as 2013.”
