Mulhern looks to add venom

The 21-year-old, who is originally from Donegal and now lives in Leagrave, scored a 40-37 points win against last-minute replacement Sid Razak at Luton’s Liquid Nightclub last month.

Mulhern weighed in for the fight half a stone lighter than his experienced opponent, and he is now looking to add more weight to his piston-like punching.

He said: “There was a big difference between the two of us – half a stone. I weighed in at 10 stone after eating my breakfast in the morning!

“There could have been a bit more venom in my shots but I was throwing a lot of punches and landing.”
