Valiant Conroy is beaten on points
Dunstable boxer Liam Conroy was beaten by debutant Josh Goodwin on Saturday.
The duo met in the Gooddwin Promotions ‘Crunch Time’ bill at York Hall as Conroy comfortably lasted the four rounds, only to lose the decision 40-36 on the judges scorecards.
It was the 36-year-old’s ninth loss in 10 pro bouts and he is scheduled to fight Charlie Beardon on March 19, also at York Hall.
