Browne claims bronze in Portugal

Luton gymnast Elliott Browne received his first international medal while representing Great Britain in the Junior Tumbling Championships in Portugal.

The 17-year-old scored the highest of the Juniors in the GB squad to win bronze in the individual event as GB came fourth in the team event.

Browne, who took up the sport at the age of five, was only competing in his second international competition.

He trains at Harlequin School of Gymnastics in Leighton Buzzard and is hoping to take part in the World Age Group Tumbling in America in November later this year.
