Constantine and Smith shine for Dunstable SC

Dunstable SC’s Harry Constantine and Chantal Smith competed in the Club Championships and the Luton Long Course, held at Inspire: Luton Sports Village at the weekend.

Constantine took gold in the 100m backstroke, qualifying for the regionals in the process as he timed 1.09.88mins Long Course (1.08.70mins Short Course) – gaining a new club record.

He then also claimed silver in the 100m freestyle with a time of 1.03.44mins Long Course (1.02.10mins Short Course) to gain a new club record and finish just off the regionals.

Meanwhile, Smith swam a new club record in the 200m freestyle in 2.19.76mins Long Course (2.18.08mins Short Course), and also clocked 4.50.28mins Long Course (4.48.25mins Short Course) for a new club record in the 400m freestyle.
