Majestic win downs Stars
LUTON Majestic, who are riding high in Division One of the Luton Midweek Cricket League, comfortably beat Luton United Stars, also of Division One, to move into the final of the Cup competition last Thursday.
Raza Iqbal put in a man of the match performance with 2-26 as Stars compiled a competitive 140-5 in their allotted 16 overs.
In reply Majestic comfortably reached their target with 4.3 overs left to spare – Asad Rashid hitting 53 not out and Iqbal scoring 56.

Hide AdThe other semi-final saw Division One leaders Kingsway dispose of the last Premier Division team, Luton Cricketers, to set up an all-Division One final, which will be played at Upper Wardown Park on Wednesday, July 13.
