Mandale century in vain as Town fall to defeat

An unbeaten century from Nikhil Mandale wasn’t enough to prevent Luton Town & Indians from a five-wicket defeat against Totteridge Millhillians in Saracens Herts League Division One on Saturday.

Mandale cracked 103 not out from just 70 balls, while Jeremy Page was undefeated on 68 as Town reached 255-2 from 53 overs.

It proved well within Totteridge’s reach though as they eased to 259-5 in the 33rd over.

Meanwhile, Caddington enjoyed a four wicket Morrant Counties League Division Three victory over Open University on Saturday.
