Renowned for his innovative thinking, Watts has changed the format of competitions in the Bedfordshire County League and introduced a women’s team to the men’s league.

The prestigious event, which was hosted by BBC Radio’s Test Match Special commentator Jonathan Agnew, saw a current and former England cricketers including Steven Finn, Graeme Swann, Jenny Gunn and Michael Vaughan turn out to recognise the efforts of volunteers.

Watts attended the prestigious event with his fellow county OSCAs winners who included, Building Partnerships, Katie Metcalfe (Bedfordshire Ladies CC), Lifetime Achiever, Colin Tibbett (Dunstable Town Cricket Club) and Officiating, Bob Browning (Bedfordshire Cricket Ltd).
