Deed finishes first marathon
Boxfit’s Darren Deed completed his first marathon last Sunday.
The Lutonian was third European and first Briton home at the Amsterdam Marathon as he recorded an excellent time of 2.21hrs.
Deed could have gone quicker but a mistake by the pacemaker meant he had to run for 19 miles on his own in extremely testing conditions.
