Dees took an early lead when Rob Thorne charged down a kick and Scott Warren scored, with Jon White converting. He kicked a penalty, before adding the extras when winger Matt Anderson ghosted home. A penalty saw Oadby trail 17-3 at half time, before the hosts extended their lead after the break when Gavin Denning dived over.

Oadby then grabbed a converted try, followed by another score to cut the gap to 22-15.

Oadby refused to lie down, scoring a scrambled converted try, but Dees held on. This weekend, they visit Northampton Old Scouts.
