Derby day Dees victory

UNDERDOGS Dunstablians scored a 25-17 friendly victory over old county rivals Bedford Athletic on Saturday.

Upbeat team manager Damian Daize said: “It was a good performance against the Midlands One side but we still need to develop that killer instinct, keep our concentration and reduce unforced errors.”

Much-improved Dees rose to the occasion and showed the fruits of their pre-season training as they won three of the four-quarter match.
