AFC Dunstable lose out to Hanwell

AFC Dunstable lost 2-1 to Hanwell Town in the first round of the Molten Spartan SML Challenge Trophy on Tuesday night.

Blaise O’Brien put the home side ahead on 37 minutes, but AFC’s Terry Billy netted the equaliser five minutes later.

However, Shaun Lucien’s 73rd-minute strike gave the home side victory.

Paul Insley’s 33rd-minute strike condemned AFC to a 1-0 home defeat in front of 81 fans at Creasey Park in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division on Saturday.

AFC are set to travel to Hadley in the Premier Division on Saturday.
