AFC fall to Jets defeat
AFC Dunstable lost 4-2 at home to title-chasing Oxhey Jets in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division on Saturday.
Jets were 2-0 up in the first half through Andy Lomas (20) and Ian Bywater (34).
The third arrived two minutes into the second half when Bywater scored his second, but AFC hit back as Jake Gilbert (55) and James Baldry (60) reduced the deficit with Oxhey reduced to 10 men.
Against the run of play, Lewis Putman’s 86th-minute strike decided the contest as AFC visit Leverstock Green on Saturday.
