In the second period, AFC were awarded a penalty when Jimmy Hartley was fouled and Leon Simpson stepped up andconvert the spot kick on the hour.

Haverhill then came to life as they pulled a goal back on 65 minutes and made it 4-2 with 10 minutes left.

The visitors threw everyone forward for a late corner and AFC as Moses Olaleye rounded the keeper before releasing Marcus Campbell, who ran in the fifth unchallenged.

AFC have been drawn at home to Colney Heath in the second round and visit Chesham United Reserves in the Challenge Trophy second round tonight.
