All the odds as Hatters host Magpies

After an excellent win at Mansfield, Luton boss Nathan Jones must be targeting a minimum of four points from the two home games the Hatters' have in the next week starting with the visit of Notts County at the weekend.

It is well documented that Town have had their struggles at Kenilworth Road this season but the 7/5 for a home win against Notts at BetVictor is too big given the visitors have only won one of their last six although that was success was on their travels at Crawley Town.

The Hatters lost the reverse fixture 3-2 at Meadow Lane back in September and they went down by the same scoreline to Tuesday night’s visitors to Kenilworth Road Yeovil Town in August.

Revenge is a dish best served cold and it is likely to be freezing at Kenilworth Road at the weekend; a 3-2 win for the Hatters’ is 28/1 at BetVictor but I would suggest the 19/2 for a 2-1 home win is overpriced.

Town are into 14s (from 16s) for a top seven finish but six points from the next two home games will see them within hailing distance of the play-off places. Orient’s late 1-0 win over Newport County midweek didn’t help Town’s play-off chances and you feel this is a pivotal week for Jones and the side’s end of season objectives.
