All the odds as Hatters visit York

Craig Mackail-Smith's late winner gave Town only their fourth home win of the season and they will be desperate to back that win up at Bootham Crescent on Saturday when they meet a York City side fighting to maintain their Football League status.

The Minstermen are in the relegation places but only on goal difference and have improved in recent weeks beating both Notts County and Exeter in front of their home fans and only going down 2-1 to runaway league leaders Northampton Town earlier in the week.

The Hatters are 23/20 to take all three points back down south with the hosts 12/5 and the draw 5/2 at BetVictor.

Scottish international Mackail-Smith was finding the net for only the fourth occasion this season against Pools and the striker, who came off the bench to grab the winner, is 6/1 to open the scoring on Saturday and 19/10 to find the back of the net during the 90 minutes.

A draw might not be enough for York and in pushing for a win I expect to see Nathan Jones’s side pick off the Minster Men on the break; Town are 40/1 to reach the play-offs but with Morecambe visiting Kenilworth Road next Tuesday we can still but dream!
