Bearman leaves Rovers

Barton Rovers have confirmed that manager Lee Bearman has left the club after only four months in charge.

A statement on the club’s official Twitter page said: “Due to the demands of the job and balancing a business life, manager Lee Bearman has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.

“The club would like to whole heartedly thank Lee for his hard work in what was a difficult period following a disruptive close season.

“Matt Endersby and Jon Reed will take temporary charge of 1st team affairs during the interim period. Again massive thanks to Lee Bearman.”

Barton’s next game is at home to King’s Lynn Town in the Red Insure Cup on Tuesday.
